Can cultural Christianity save the West?

Speaker Tobias Brown traces the rise of “cultural Christianity” and asks whether it’s enough to save our fractured society.

Over recent years, many influential figures have turned ‘culturally Christian’. From Richard Dawkins to Kemi Badenoch to Elon Musk, there’s a growing appreciation for society’s Christian roots – and a call to return to them.

And yet in an already polarised society, cultural Christianity feels like just another ideology. Another faction in the culture wars. We sense it might have something to offer, but we’re wary of taking sides.

But what if church attendance and traditional family values aren’t enough? What if society’s problems go deeper than that? What if our intuitions only point us halfway there?

Join our speaker, Tobias Brown, as he traces the rise of ‘cultural Christianity’ and asks what hope it can offer for a better future.
