Where is God in the age of science?

We don’t have an article for you this week, but don’t worry, we’ll be back with an article headed for your inboxes next Friday (sign-up here). In the meantime, the main thing to bring to your attention is our upcoming Salt Live event…

Salt Live: Where is God in the age of science?
22nd May, 7.30pm – 9.30pm
Coin Street Community Centre (near Waterloo station)

RSVP via Eventbrite

Many people are asking, Has science buried God? The standard assumption in our city is that religion is merely speculation whereas science is based on hard facts. So we’re left wondering, does Christianity have anything to add in this scientific age?

We’d love for you to join us for an enjoyable and thought-provoking evening as Dr Andrew Sach wrestles with the age old conflict of science vs. religion. Andrew studied Natural Sciences in Cambridge before completing a doctorate in Neuroscience at York University. He is currently a minister at Grace Church Greenwich.

Salt Live is a series of events aimed at thoughtful Londoners engaging with faith, philosophy and life. Don’t forget to invite your friends, particularly those interested in scientific or spiritual questions!

PS if you’re really missing your weekly dose of Salt, you can find 2018’s most popular 3 articles here:
